Ms. Padma Rai

Ms. Padma Rai is a highly respected senior nursing leader with more than 30 years of experience spanning clinical practice, military medical service, academic leadership, and international peacekeeping missions. With a Master’s Degree in Adult Nursing from the Institute of Medicine under Tribhuvan University, she has devoted her career to strengthening nursing standards and advancing professional excellence in Nepal.

Professional Background

Clinical & Administrative Leadership

Before joining Nursetech Skill Center, Ms. Rai served as Matron at the Upendra Devkota Memorial National Institute of Neurological and Allied Sciences, where she led nursing administration, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.

She also completed 24 years of distinguished service in the Nepal Army Medical Services as a commissioned Nursing Officer. During this tenure, she:

• Led critical care units and supervised medical and surgical departments

• Coordinated national-level trainings and hospital preparedness programs

• Contributed to disaster response planning and implementation

International Service

Ms. Rai represented Nepal in multiple United Nations Peacekeeping missions, serving as:

• Nursing Supervisor in Haiti, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Sierra Leone
