This is Nepal’s first structured Postpartum Doula Course, designed primarily for women with experience of giving birth and raising a baby, but open to anyone with a genuine interest in supporting mothers and newborns. Minimum education requirement is SEE pass, though motivated participants with lower formal education but strong interest may also be considered.
The program equips participants to provide holistic postpartum care, including physical recovery, emotional support, newborn care, family guidance, and therapeutic massage for mothers and babies. Participants gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills, preparing them to support families confidently during the critical postpartum period.
After completing this foundational program and gaining practical experience, participants can advance to the Professional Postpartum Doula course, which focuses on advanced skills and career opportunities.
